Over the last couple of years, there have been several incidences of security breaches on media outlets across the nation. From a report of a zombie invasion in a Montana emergency alert to the Twitter account of Burger King reporting being sold to and tweeting as McDonalds, manufacturers and supply chain managers are increasingly more aware of the security of their clouds and other company accounts. If such large and mainstream companies’ accounts can be broken into so easily, then how can the average user and supply chain managers stay confident in the protection of their own?
RSA’s 2013 Conference’s theme was, “Security in Knowledge: Mastering Data. Securing the World.” There were 29 studio presentation sessions which focused on internet data security, how to prevent it, and how to respond to hackers. Though all sessions were informative, one in particular gave a more all-encompassing summary concerning data and media security. Learn how your company can secure its accounts by watching the conference presentation below entitled, “The Cyber Threat Landscape: New Themes in Prevention, Detection and Response”.
