February’s non-manufacturing growth (NMI) bests the average of the last 12 months, as well as outperforming last February’s highest NMI. The Institute for Supply Chain Management’s monthly Non-Manufacturing Report on Business released its indices on growth and stated that all four core metrics remained in growth mode for February.
The non-manufacturing core metrics of Business Activity/Production, New Orders, and Employment reached the forecasted levels in February, and respondents in the Report on Business showed increased confidence in the economy.
