Back in December 2013, Amazon famously made reports after the supply chain giant disclosed they were experimenting with concepts for delivery methods using air drones. Being Amazon, this did not surprise most that they would be the first to fabricate such a delivery mechanism.
Last month, the FAA ordered a small town flower shop’s online delivery service, FlowerDeliveryExpress.com to stop the testing of their own flower delivery drones they have been doing without the publicity that Amazon gave to their flights.
The FAA’s ruling was reversed last week by a Federal judge, and the Commerce Township, Michigan flower shop, Wesley Berry Flowers has resumed its drone delivery concept testing. The flower shop is so advanced in its drone fabrication, however, that it has a video of the drone and it is able to take off and land in a smaller area than that of Amazon’s creation.
