Walgreen, the largest drug retailing chain in the nation, Alliance Boots, and AmerisourceBergen signed a $400 billion, 10-year agreement that is now coined “Earth’s Drugstore”, as reference by Forbes. In addition to having the opportunity to invest in each other’s businesses, they will also have agreed to collaborate and share best practices to provide manufacturers with integrated solutions for global clinical trials and “innovative” 3PL services.
