Everyone in technology and marketing are interested in how the Project Glass by Google is creating so much enthusiasm in augmented reality wearable glasses. Because of this interest, SAP is teaming up with video eyewear company, Vuzix, to create their own brand of wearable reality glasses.

For China, one of the largest problems they are facing is urbanization. By the year 2025, it is predicted that another 400 million people will be added to China’s urban population. To aid with rapidly growing urban areas, SAP entered into an agreement with the Chinese government to develop intelligent transportation.

In a recent announcement, SAP disclosed they were acquiring e-commerce software company, hybris, in the third quarter for an undisclosed amount. Though owned by SAP, hybris will operate as an independent business unit.

Chrome and Android users are in luck! SAP and Google have partnered to further develop SAP Fiori applications on Google-based platforms. Fiori is designed for application design for business enterprise-level security. Google’s vice president of enterprise, Amit Singh, announced the new partnership which will integrate SAP HANA big analytics into Google platforms.
